Shade is a 9 year old, palomino mare with a long list of credentials and an incredible resume. Runs great on any type of ground in any type of pen, very automatic and a great rodeo horse. Her style is free running to her 2nd and 3rd, but send her hard to her 1st, she currently runs in a Dave Elliott 1:1 ratio long shank chain bit. NOTHING spooks her, phenomenal trail horse as well with hackamore or anything. She ran 17.5’s on a standard with Colby her previous owner, 17.8 with me at La Grange, CA CCA rodeo with major jockey mistakes, 17.9 with me at Ione, CA also with jockey mistakes and ran a 14.3 with Colby at the stockyards after hauling 29 hours from Canada. She won the 2014 CCPRA. (Canadian Cowboys Professional Rodeo Association Finals) She’s currently in northern Brentwood, CA. Hauls beautifully, eats and drinks on road, super hardy mare, gelding personality, does not pick fights, hauls with anyone. I absolutely love this mare’s personality and have owned her a year, but I have been running a push style wrappy horse for 10 years and cannot get with her free running style. (can’t teach an old dog new tricks) 100% sound, thick boned, every xray has been done on her, she's perfect. Minor maintenance last year but not necessary!
