Stoney has about 6 months under saddle, I'd still consider him green broke so only selling to an experienced rider
He does have a nice handle, big stop, backs up, walks out on trails nice, open/closes gates, logs, ponies, walks through water, brush, over logs etc, can be rode bareback in a halter, really gentle, easy to catch, lead, load, ties, bathes, great for farrier
Loping a nice pattern, wanting to add speed on his own. He is super athletic, quick & catty. Will definitely be a higher caliber horse when finished. I feel he'd also excel on the roping side as a breakaway or heel horse and eventually be an awesome youth play day horse.
He is higher energy when asked to work, but will simmer/settle if you check him. Not a runaway or an idiot - just works. If you ride with your hands & are frigid, this is not the horse for you! He does better with lots of seat and a relaxed/calm rider
This guy is going to make someone really happy long term - buy him for yourself to finish out and compete on, and when he seasons, pass him down to your kids/grand kids.
