2008 QH gelding in on consignment. Selling as grade as papers have been misplaced. He was running in the 2D previously, but the child got a faster horse and now Hootie has been thrown out to pasture. Hes been a pasture ornament for about 5-6 months and the owners have decided he didnt need to waste any longer. We pulled him out and put him to work! The first barrel race I took him to he clocked in the 3D- our first time together. Hes OUT OF SHAPE. Easy to ride. Doesn’t need exhibitions or barrel practice. Long trot him during the week, take him to a show and run him. I was told he will drag steer and track cattle, you can throw a rope off of him as well. Big thick legs and large boned. Easy keeper. Easy personality. He is a strong horse, so I wouldnt recommend him for a beginner, but an advanced youth was running him before. Honesty is the best policy: so he has a first barrel problem, as long as you high lope him to it he will turn perfect and you can send him for his life to second and third and he will still clock 2D/3D. He is a consignment horse, so I am not interested in trying to figure out the problem, Im just selling as is! No alley way issues, will walk flat footed into the alley way and go whatever speed you ask. He is push style so he will only run as fast as you make him. Super sweet guy! First to meet you at the gate, will follow you all over the pasture, and loves to be loved on. Stands tied, for the farrier, loads, ties, clips and bathes. UTD coggins. Wears front shoes. Price is negotiable. Videos available upon request.
