Ranger is enrolled in the Tomorrow's Legends Incentive Program. His first foals were born Spring of 2021 and when they are ready to enter we will enroll him in FF and SSS.
We have frozen semen available. Stallion fee $900 – Please note that if his competition schedule conflicts with collection for fresh, we will ship frozen. His semen freezes and ships great. I will honor live foal guarantee for up to at least 1 week of age on the foal as so many die after the stand and nurse clause standard in the industry. Roping: At his first AQHA show at 2023 Rapid City stock Show and Rodeo in SD, he garnered 9.5 points in the Level 2 Heading with a win under one judge. His second show in March 2023 he gained his AQHA ROM, winning Heading and Heeling under one judge and placed 2nd and 3rd respectively under the other judge. Lee Bennett Performance Horses showed him to his qualification for the AQHA World show in Level 3 Heading and Level 2 Heeling. He was shown there by Zane Bruce Performance Horses, ending up a Level 2 Finalist and placing 12th overall in the Level 2 Heading. The World Show was his 4th ever roping show entries. He was 2023 AQHA Year End L2 Heading top 10, placing 7th over-all.
Barrels: 2023 NBHA Texas State Finals 3rd in 1D. Ran in 12 tough Texas jackpot runs in 2023 (Ex. Rockin Wild Arena, 377 Arena, NBHA State Finals), 9 runs in 1D checks or top 10, 3 runs in 2D with a 1st and 2nd.
Tried Pro-Rodeo in 2023 and was 3 holes or less out of money at 50% (went to 6). Burwell. NE, Sidney, IA, Weatherford, TX, Wichita Falls, TX, Altus, OK and Abilene, TX.
Video 1) Burwell NE 2023 PRCA Rodeo, he placed 13th but they only paid 12. It was his first Pro-Rodeo and Burwell is as good a test as you can find to see how a horse will handle rodeo. We got rained on and the whole Pro-Rodeo experience. He loved it.
Video 2) September 22, 2020 - 72 head. Ranger ran a 15.967 to win with just 4 others in 1D and the next closest time Patty Clark with a 16.238 on her awesome Dashin Bob. It is fun to hear cheers from my fellow racers who have watched him grow up. I am blessed. Oh, and thanks to Jamie Pritchard for amazing video and commentary.
Video 3) September 6, 2020 - West Texas Fair and Rodeo jackpot. He was 16th in the 1D with a 16.657 out of around 240. The 1D included some of my all time favorite horses, including Jackie Ganter's Howes A Tycoon 16.175, Smoken Lane 16.506, and Guys French Jet 16.616; and Crystal Love Nichols NB Ladybird 16.583. I am so tickled that our Ranger is in the hunt with horses I have been in awe of. Beyond blessed.
Hankerelse, aka Ranger loves to turn a barrel. He is dead quiet until you ask him to run, and then he will fire hard and mean business. He is not stud lazy, just a quiet willing mind. He is very light in the bridle and quick footed. We seldom exhibitioned him as a youngster as he has always been very responsible to find his barrels. He is beautifully balanced and level and has exceptionally strong feet and bones. His feet are hard and grow down without flaring or chipping. He has a wonderful natural cup and depth to his soles which holds the ground. We run him barefoot. He is 5 panel Negative. Many references from the West Texas barrel racing community are readily available to tell you about the temperament of this beautiful stallion.
Hankerelse is by Letta Hank Do It (champagne palomino), by Snazzy Hank SI 104. Letta Hank Do It (LHDI) was a Barrel Futurity, Derby, and WPRA earner, and Finalist at World Championship Barrel Futurity, Laze E Barrel Futurity, Texas Barrel Derby, etc. LHDI has sired multiple Black Type Barrel Race and Futurity Champions such as Imanonstop Princess- ridden by Jackie Jatzlau. As a maternal grandsire, he has produced 2016 Fort Smith Futurity Champion KN Penellapie and 2015 American Semi-Finals Champion Imanonstop Fame. He is a maternal brother to Fire Water Flit, both out of the legendary Slash J Harletta; recognized as an all time maternal producer of barrel horses.
