“Joker” 2016 Rabicino Gelding

Great grandson of Highbrow Cat. He’s had roughly 90 consecutive days put on him with random ride time in between. He gets rode through the woods to check cows and fence lines with no booger. He gets cold backed if you put him up and don’t ride him, lunge him for 5 minutes and he’s ready to roll. One of the easiest, most naturally athletic horses i’ve ever sat on. Level headed and solid minded, respects you in the saddle and on the ground. His dam was a feral broodmare so he’s a little snorty and watchful if he doesn’t know you but it’s not intimidating. His personality is a mile wide. Extremely easy keeper, he’s on grass hay and balancer. Feet are just as solid as they come. He might get trimmed every 8 weeks. Built to a T, he is on the short end. I’ve never put a stick on him but looking at him in estimation he’s probably 14.1. He’s never turned his nose up to a job i’ve asked him to do, or anything in general i’ve ever asked of him. Works in the round pen beautifully, collects, and works off the haunches. PPE’s are always welcome at the buyers expense, I have absolutely nothing to hide and upon interest i will fully disclose everything about this gelding. He was never supposed to leave this home. He is our first homegrown colt but for his sake and quality of life,I have to put him first and not be selfish. He has Habronema Larvae Sores that he has gotten every year since he’s hit the ground. This year has been especially hard on him, and after consulting with our vet we have decided that for his best interest, moving him out of state, would be the best thing for him. I’m not looking for advice on how to heal these, my vet will attest that I give it my all when i have to doctor this guy. I change bandages twice daily with an entire routine attached to each bandage change. Again, we don’t want to let this colt go by any means but I personally cannot see him go through this anymore.
