Clifford is the kind everyone looks for! He is gentle, personable and a pleasure to ride. Clifford got his start in the arena under one of the most talented barrel trainers in the northwest, Ariel McClure. Following his training with her, Clifford spent time going to jackpots, doing exhibitions and seeing all the sights and sounds. During the week Clifford was also used to give lessons in the arena with youth riders. He has spent many miles down the trail and happily goes wherever you point him, through water, up the rocks, he’s just happy to be out enjoying time with his partner. This horse is about as user friendly as they come. He is broke like one should be, not a mean bone in his body and is just a fun horse to be around. We believe Clifford has what it takes to be a star in the arena whether you start entering him on the barrels or put him in the roping box, you won’t be disappointed. Clifford is excellent in a stall, tidy and polite to clean around, and loves a good scratch with the pitchfork. He also gets along good in a herd setting. Clifford bathes, shoes and hauls with ease. He is big footed, clean legged and doesn’t have a single blemish on him.
